Deck the Halls at Smarty Pants Bar
They’re having a holiday party and you’re invited! Join Santa behind the bar and the rest of the gang at Smarty Pants Bar, on Sunday, Dec 8, at 2pm, to decorate the bar and help trim their tree! Bring an ornament to add to the tree and share in the holiday tradition! There will be hors d’oeuvres served and drink specials all night, plus holiday tunes to get into the spirit of the season.
Smarty Pants Bar is owned by Mark Tison and his partner Fritz. It is known as Fort Lauderdale’s oldest neighborhood alternative lifestyle bar. This same location has served the LGBTQ community, as well as every other type of person under the sun, for over 50 years. Mark and Fritz have owned Smarty Pants Bar for over 16 years. However, previous incarnations have been known as The Bushes and Little Jim’s.
Smarty Pants has daily specials and weekly events to attend, such as their weekly Trivia Night, featuring Nikki Adams, on Tuesdays starting at 6pm. Stop by on Wednesdays for their all-day Beer Bucket Bash and they offer Karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights, starting at 9pm, with Don Casteel. Smarty Pants Bar is open seven days a week with daily happy hour specials.
