Stork’s Celebrates Big Win in SFGN’s Best Of Issue
Stork’s has been a local favorite since 1997 and today, owner Peter Dekaj, has a lot to be proud of. We’d like to congratulate Stork’s Bakery & Cafe on their amazing accomplishment… taking home three awards in the South Florida Gay News’ annual “Best of” issue! The staff should be very proud of this accomplishment; winning 6 years in a row and taking home more awards than any other business in the area this year.
This year, Stork’s was awarded the win in three categories:
- Best Coffee Shop
- Best Desserts
- Best Barista, Daniel
But if you think of Stork’s as “just a coffee shop”, you are very wrong! Best Barista, Daniel, stated that his success is due to his patience, ability to listen to his customers, and the relationships he has built with his customers.
