Enjoy the 14th Annual Taste of the Island
“An evening of food and libation in the Island City”
This annual event is one of the favorites of residents and visitors to our Island, as it showcases and spotlights some of the best culinary and beverage specialists in Wilton Manors and the surrounding area in a lovely outdoor setting. Held on Monday, November 18th, in Richardson Historic Park and Nature Preserve, at 1937 Wilton Drive, this rain or shine event has been held for 14 years and this year will be full of great restaurants such as;
Bravo Peruvian Cuisine, Bahama Breeze, Chef Howie’s Kitchen at The Pub, Bubbles & Pearls, Ethos Greek Bistro, Rendez-Vous Bakery & Bistro, as well as many others.
This is an opportunity for you to take a bite out of each of these great restaurants for a small ticket price (tickets are non-refundable). Tickets are available online or in person at the Wilton Manors City Hall, and each year they have sold out due to the popularity of this event.
The gates open at 6pm and close at 8pm before the end of the event at 9pm, but you will want to get there early before all the delicious edibles are gone. There is free parking at the City Hall/Hagen Park lot at 2020 Wilton Drive, and shuttle service is also free to the event, or take a short walk to the venue. There is also reserved parking available at the Richardson parking lot, and more information is available at http://tasteoftheisland.org
